At least 1 person shot at Harford Mall in Bel Air, Maryland

Authorities are investigating a shooting that took place Sunday afternoon at the Harford Mall in Bel Air.

The Bel Air Police Department is urging the public to avoid the vicinity of the 600 block of Belair Road.

The shooting occurred around 4 p.m., and the victim was airlifted to a hospital in stable condition, according to police. They also mentioned that a suspect has been identified.

There is no active shooter, and the scene is contained, police said.

Both the department and the Harford County Sheriff’s Office have requested that the public avoid the area while the investigation is ongoing.

The suspect, a male dressed entirely in black, was last seen in a maroon Jeep Laredo with license plate 5DM1854. He was accompanied by two females: one with lighter skin wearing a brown shirt, and another with darker skin wearing a white shirt.
