25-year-old Gabriel Deamontae Bester killed in Birmingham
A woman who was shot and a baby were also found at the crash site.
A 25-year-old man who was fatally shot, resulting in two others, including a baby girl, being hospitalized, was identified on Monday morning.
The Birmingham Police Department reported that the man was shot at an unknown location.
While driving a Dodge Charger on I-59 southbound near the Tallapoosa Street exit, he crashed into a pond at Greenwood Park.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the man as Gabriel Deamontae Bester.
A woman who was shot and a baby were also found at the crash site.
The woman was transported to UAB Hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the baby, who was unharmed, was taken to Children’s Hospital.
