IDEA Bluff Springs school on lockdown due to potential threat

At approximately 8:35 this morning, IDEA Bluff Springs initiated a SECURE protocol, which entails the closure and locking of all gates and exterior doors, with everyone instructed to enter the building and no one allowed to enter or exit.

This action was taken in response to a potential threat reported in a nearby area. As a precautionary measure, we escalated the SECURE protocol to a LOCKDOWN.

We are maintaining communication with local law enforcement and will adhere to their guidance throughout the situation.
