Fresh footage from the Kansas City shooting appears to capture the moments just before gunfire erupted, and as law enforcement officials have suggested, it seems teenagers were involved.

The video, which shows the KC rally around 1:48 PM CT on Wednesday, aligns with the initial reports of the shooting.

Eyewitnesses claim that the individuals seen in the background engaged in a heated altercation with someone off-camera.

Several key individuals stand out in the footage—a teenager dressed in red, visibly agitated and seen tossing his bag down while engaged in an argument with an unseen person.

Another teenager, dressed in all black with a bag slung over his shoulder, approaches the scene.

Both individuals were captured on video walking away from the shooting moments later, with the young man in black appearing to have sustained a gunshot wound, reportedly to the face according to eyewitnesses.

His companion in red closely follows as they quickly leave the area.

Sources indicate that the group of young men visible in the footage appeared to be together, engaged in a dispute with a taller and potentially older individual off-camera.

Eyewitnesses assert that this unidentified person initiated the gunfire directed at the group. While it remains uncertain if the young men returned fire, some witnesses speculate they might have, although no evidence of them brandishing or using firearms is apparent in the videos.
