2 killed, 2 wounded after shooting on east side of Kansas City

Two others, a woman and a teenage boy, were injured and taken to a nearby hospital; they are expected to survive.

A shooting on Kansas City’s east side left two people dead and two others injured early Thursday morning.

Detectives are investigating at the scene (32nd and Bellefontaine) to determine the cause. Police received reports of gunfire around 1 am near 32nd and Agnes.

Upon arrival, officers found a man and a teenage boy with gunshot wounds.

Medics pronounced two people dead at the scene of the shooting.

Two others, a woman and a teenage boy, were injured and taken to a nearby hospital; they are expected to survive.
