Father Christopher Zanski shot and killed his children before taking his own life

In Howard County, Maryland, responding to a welfare check call in Glenelg late Sunday night led police to a shocking discovery.

Inside the home located in the 14000 block of Triadelphia Road, near Glenelg High School, officers found a man and two teenage boys dead, all having succumbed to gunshot wounds.

Based on an initial investigation, police suspect that Christopher Zanski, aged 42, fatally shot his children, Braden Zanski, aged 17, and Hailey Zanski, aged 15, before taking his own life.

The three individuals resided together in the same home.

Authorities state there is no indication of any external involvement in the shooting, and as of now, a motive remains undetermined.
