Jasmine Johnson and Joann Johnson killed in Shreveport shooting, suspect identified as Donald White

In the early hours of Sunday, a shooting in Shreveport resulted in two fatalities and left another person critically injured.
The incident occurred in the 2700 block of Willis Street, near Linear Street and Audrey Lane, situated within the city’s 71107 zip code.
These mark the first two homicides in Shreveport for the year 2024.
Family members have confirmed the identity of one victim, a 70-year-old Joann Johnson.
Another woman later identified as Jasmine Johnson was discovered deceased at the scene, while a male victim was swiftly transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
As of now, no suspect has been identified, and there have been no arrests made.
The Shreveport Police Department continues its ongoing investigation.
