No evidence of shooting found at Tampa Premium Outlets, investigating ongoing

Update: Pasco Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a shooting after a fire alarm was activated at the Tampa Premium Outlets around 4:30 p.m. this afternoon. At this time, deputies are continuing to investigate but there is no evidence of a shooting.

The only injuries were unrelated medical events and minor injuries after individuals were injured in the rush after the initial report. The investigation remains ongoing & there will be an increased law enforcement presence in the area as deputies continue to investigate.

A number of different law enforcement organizations are reacting to reports of shooting incident at Tampa Premium Outlets located 2300 Grand Cypress Dr, Lutz, Florida.

Police officers are currently at the scene conducting an investigation.

As at the time of this report, there has been neither confirmation nor identification of any victims.

No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.
