21-year-old Jade Rhodes killed in shooting at Mayors Club bar near the Forrest/Stone County line

In the early hours of Sunday morning, a bar shooting near the Forrest/Stone County line resulted in injuries and a tragic loss of life.

The victim who succumbed to their injuries has been identified as 21-year-old Jade Rhodes, as confirmed by Forrest County Deputy Coroner Lisa Klem.

Deputies from the Forrest County Sheriff’s Office swiftly responded to the Mayors Club bar on Old Highway 49 after reports of the shooting surfaced. Upon arrival, it was determined that multiple individuals had been affected.

Further investigation revealed that while three people sustained non-life-threatening injuries, one individual tragically lost their life due to gunfire.

Forrest County investigators, in collaboration with the Hattiesburg Police Department Crime Scene Investigation Unit, have gathered numerous shell casings of various calibers from the incident site, as reported by the Forrest County Office.
