Female shot multiple times on North Hills street at Dollar Tree in the parkin lot

Update: A witness in the parking lot informed Channel3 News that upon exiting the store, they noticed a woman slouched over in her car.

Upon approaching, they observed that she was bleeding but still conscious and responsive. A two-year-old child was securely seated and unharmed.

The woman had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and her condition is currently unknown. The initial report indicated a robbery with a gunshot victim.

It is presumed that if a robbery occurred, it took place in the parking lot.

It appears that the woman was the intended target, suggesting that this was not a random act.

The suspects were seen departing in a black Honda Accord, heading west. In the car, there were a black male and a black female. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

A number of different law enforcement organizations are reacting to reports of shooting at The North Hill and 29th Ave Dollar Tree in Meridian, Mississippi.

Officers and detectives are currently on scene conducting an investigation.
