The Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department reports arrest of Allen and Angelica Wood following an investigation into a shooting.

At approximately 7:00PM on September 16, 2023 members of the Town of Poughkeepsie Police responded to a residence at Cherry Hill Condominiums for a person who had been shot in the head.

Upon arrival to the scene Officers located the victim and began emergency medical aid until Medics from Arlington Fire Department arrived. Initial statements from subjects in the residence reported that an unknown male unlawfully entered an apartment and shot the victim before fleeing on foot.
