Detectives from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office are currently examining a deadly shooting incident involving neighbors in DeLeon Springs.
The shooting incident occurred at approximately 7:13 p.m. at 1880 Alameda Drive.
Preliminary findings suggest that the victim, a 42-year-old man, was engaged in tree trimming near his property boundary when his neighbor emerged from his residence and discharged a shot that resulted in the victim’s fatal injury.
