Two dead, three injured in shooting at The Arboretum Shopping Center in Austin, Texas
The gunfire took place near The Arboretum on the city’s north side, police said.
A shooting incident on Thursday outside a prominent shopping center in Austin, Texas, resulted in the tragic deaths of two individuals and left three others wounded, with one in critical condition, as confirmed by authorities.
The Austin Police Department assured that there was no apparent danger to the general public following the incident near The Arboretum located on the northern side of the city.
Law enforcement stated via X, previously known as Twitter, that no individuals had been apprehended in connection with the incident.
Two individuals lost their lives at the location, as reported by Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services.
One individual with critical injuries was transported to a hospital, while two others received assessment for minor injuries, according to authorities.
Law enforcement encouraged possible witnesses to step forward and provide any images or videos they might have captured from the vicinity.
