18-year-old Ashlyn Quentin Fields dies after Spartanburg County shooting

The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the death of an 18-year-old in a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday afternoon.

The incident took place at the Valero gas station, situated at the intersection of Southport Road and West Croft Circle.

The teenager was transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and subsequently succumbed to their injuries, as reported by officials.

The coroner has identified the teenager as Ashlyn Quentin Fields.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
