The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner will determine cause of death.

The actor, renowned for his portrayal of Chandler Bing on Friends, was discovered deceased at a residence in the Los Angeles area on Saturday.

Perry was found in a jacuzzi at the residence, and no drugs were uncovered at the scene.

Warner Bros. released a statement regarding the beloved “Friends” star:

The influence of his comedic brilliance was felt worldwide, and his memory will endure in the hearts of many. A representative from the Los Angeles Police Department informed Channel3 that they received a call at Perry’s residence concerning the passing of a male in his 50s.

However, they did not confirm the identity of the deceased. No evidence of foul play was found, and their sources indicate that first responders were dispatched to the residence in response to a cardiac arrest.

Perry’s representatives did not promptly reply to Channel3’s request for a statement.
