Palestinian forces captured Major General Nimrod Aloni, the commander of the Deep Forces, which is the Israeli army’s most strategic special forces unit.

This operation, involving the capture of an officer of such high rank, is typically within the capabilities of intelligence agencies like those of Iran and Syria.

The Gaza factions swiftly targeted the commander’s residence, neutralized the guards, apprehended General Aloni, and subsequently withdrew from the area.

Hamas militants launched 3,000 missiles at Israel causing more than 25 deaths and 700 injuries. They also took many Israeli soldiers and civilians as hostages. Some videos are very disturbing – with blood-curdling barbarity being executed on women.

This is a developing story that will be updated when more information is available.
