Hoax active shooter threat at Virginia High School in Bristol
In an abundance of caution, Washington Lee was placed on a lockdown for a short period of time as well.
At approximately 11:45 today, Virginia High School administration received an anonymous call regarding a threat to the school.
The school immediately went into a lockdown.
The Bristol Virginia Police Department responded to investigate the threat.
Upon investigation, no threat was identified.
The lockdown has been cleared and classes have resumed as normal.
