2 people shot at Wendy’s drive thru in Chesapeake

The Chesapeake Police Department is currently probing a drive-by shooting incident that occurred at a Wendy’s drive-thru.
The incident took place at 11:35 a.m. this morning at the Wendy’s located on Western Branch Blvd.
A vehicle was in the drive-thru when a black SUV pulled up alongside it and came to a stop.
Subsequently, several individuals from the SUV discharged shots into the victim’s vehicle.
Both an adult male and adult female in the targeted vehicle sustained gunshot wounds and have been transported to the hospital; their current condition remains undisclosed.
