Lockdown at Olympus High School lifted and the school has resumed normal operations

Olympus High School in Holladay implemented lockdown protocols early Tuesday due to what officials describe as ‘special circumstances.’

A representative from the Granite School District has stated that the lockdown was a precautionary step, and school administrators are currently engaged in discussions with a student under scrutiny. The lockdown was lifted around 11:30 a.m. and the school said school was proceeding as normal.

No additional details regarding the reasons behind the lockdown have been disclosed.

Numerous parents of students at the school contacted Channel3 News expressing their frustration over not receiving any updates or information regarding the lockdown.
