A 17-year-old named Jason was found dead after a shooting on Sunday night in Texarkana.
Texarkana police officials responded to a call at an apartment in the 1000 block of College Drive around 1:30 a.m. where they discovered the victim indoors.
Authorities arrested a 16-year-old and transported them to a juvenile detention center, as per reports.
“We believe that the two boys were friends,” officials stated. “The gun recovered at the scene had been reported stolen in Hope, Arkansas.
