JaMichael Spikes, Caleb Moss and 16-year-old juvenile arrested in connection to shooting outside Bogalusa high school basketball game

Numerous additional arrest warrants have been secured for other individuals associated with this incident and several more arrests are expected in the near future.

The Bogalusa Police Department has been diligently working to identify and apprehend all individuals connected to this incident.

In relation to the events surrounding the homicide, detectives have carried out multiple residential search warrants, confiscated numerous firearms, and retrieved vehicles believed to be linked to the crime.

Furthermore, detectives have successfully arrested a 16-year-old juvenile involved in the homicide. The charges against him include First Degree Murder, two counts of Attempted First Degree Murder, and various firearm-related offenses.

21-year-old JaMichael Spikes, was arrested hours after the shooting for the offense of Obstruction of Justice. The investigation revealed additional details pertaining to Spikes’ and warrants were ultimately secured for the offenses of Principal to Attempted Second Degree Murder, Principal to Illegal Use of Weapons, and Principal to Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property.

18-year-old Caleb Moss, was arrested yesterday, January 14, for the offenses of Obstruction of Justice, Accessory After the Fact of First Degree Murder, and 2 counts of Accessory After the Fact of Attempted First Degree Murder.

Numerous additional arrest warrants have been secured for other individuals associated with this incident and several more arrests are expected in the near future.
