The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into a fatal shooting that occurred overnight in Edinburg.
Deputies from the sheriff’s office were dispatched to a residence at the 5600 block of Wakita Drive, where they discovered the lifeless body of a 21-year-old Michael Arevalo who had succumbed to a gunshot wound.
