On Wednesday afternoon, a teenager in Montgomery met a tragic end due to a fatal shooting, according to the Montgomery police.

Responding to a shooting call in the 2100 block of Rexford Road around 4:30 p.m., officers discovered a 17-year-old boy with a life-threatening gunshot wound.

Regrettably, he succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.

The circumstances, including a suspect and motive, are presently unclear, leading to an ongoing investigation treated as a homicide.
