40-year-old Angela Lauren Davidson shot and killed at Heatherbrook Apartments in Port Arthur

The Port Arthur Police Department has disclosed the identity of a woman who was shot on her apartment porch and subsequently passed away at a hospital.
Police Chief Tim Duriso informed Channel3 NOW that they are actively seeking suspects in connection with the shooting death of Angela Lauren Davidson, aged 40 and a resident of Port Arthur.
Justice of the Peace Ben Collins Sr. has mandated an autopsy.
Responding to the shooting incident at approximately 7:45 p.m. on Monday at Heatherbrook Apartments on Heatherbrook Trail, the Port Arthur Police Department, firefighters, and a City Ambulance EMS unit took prompt action.
Angela Lauren Davidson was transported by ambulance to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital, where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries.
The law enforcement officers cordoned off the area behind an apartment, using yellow crime scene tape, which included sections on a wooden privacy fence.
