Shooting at Charlestowne Shops left one person dead

An investigation is underway by Memphis police into a deadly shooting at the Charlestowne Shops on Mount Moriah Road.

The incident occurred before 1 a.m. on Saturday morning, with officers responding to discover a man who had sustained gunshot wounds.

He was swiftly transported to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
