20-year-old Kealan Tre Hardeman dead after shooting on Brentwood Avenue in Macon

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred at 6:14 p.m. on Saturday.

A ShotSpotter alert prompted deputies to respond, and upon arrival at the scene on Brentwood Avenue in the 1400 block, they discovered 20-year-old Kealan Tre Hardeman with a gunshot wound, according to the press release.

Hardeman was transported to Atrium Health Navicent, where he was declared deceased at 7:02 p.m.

There were no additional injuries reported.

Bibb County Sheriff investigators are actively exploring the circumstances leading up to the incident.
