Jordan High School in Durham on lockdown after report of weapon on campus
Jordan High School, situated off Garrett Road in southern Durham County, is a part of Durham Public Schools.
Wednesday morning, Jordan High School initiated a lockdown in response to an “anonymous tip,” as stated by a spokesperson for Durham Public Schools.
Preliminary information suggests that the tip pertained to a potential presence of a weapon on campus.
