Curtis Henry Wright killed in shooting occurred in Utica on Boyce Avenue
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact UPD at 315-223-3556.
Just before 8:00PM on September 29th, 2023 Utica Police and Utica Fire units were dispatched to Boyce Ave regarding a shooting investigation with a male shot later identified as Curtis Henry Wright.
The victim was immediately transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital where all life saving measures were undertaken, however sadly Curtis succumbed to his injuries.
The Utica Police Department Major Crimes Unit has been assigned the investigation, and officers are currently on scene conducting a canvas for witnesses and surveillance video.
