1 dead, 2 injured after shooting outside Saint Helena College and Career Academy in Greensburg
Deputies say shooter is a student who allegedly killed another student and injured two others.
On Tuesday, September 12, authorities from the St. Helena Parish Sheriff’s Office apprehended a juvenile in relation to a fatal shooting that involved multiple individuals.
The juvenile in question is 14 years old and is enrolled as a student at the school, as confirmed by officials.
According to law enforcement, the incident took place at approximately 3 p.m. at St. Helena College & Career Academy, resulting in the loss of one life.
Additionally, another individual was taken to a local hospital, as confirmed by officials, while a third person was airlifted for medical attention.
The first call was received at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Their current conditions remain uncertain. As of now, a motive has not been determined.
